Hello
I’m Allison Preisinger, the founder of AMP Studio LLC. I utilize my musical background to collaborate with clients on producing top-notch podcasts, audiobooks, and other audio projects. My goal is to simply work closely with you to bring your vision to life.
When I'm not collaborating with clients, you can find me pursuing my music career as a Performing Songwriter. Writing new material, performing around the PNW, and collaborating with other musicians. Find out more at www.allisonpreisinger.com.
At AMP Studio, I’m here to take stress off your plate, so you can focus on what you do best—creating and sharing your story. Let’s collaborate to create some amazing audio experiences together!
My Story
AMP Studio first began in 2006 when Allison Preisinger began teaching private music lessons out of her parent’s home in Arlington, Washington. As a performing songwriter, she taught guitar, piano, voice, flute, and songwriting to students of all ages and experience levels. The business took a hiatus while Allison attended Berklee College of Music, where she graduated with a degree in Professional Music in 2011. After graduation Allison spent time working odd jobs, teaching, and performing while sorting out what was next in her entrepreneurship and musical path.
AMP Studio has now developed to encompass live performance, studio recordings, voice over, and helping others bring their own audiobooks, podcasts, and music projects to life. AMP Studio was relaunched in August of 2020 as an LLC during the pandemic after Allison left her job as the music booker of a small venue in South Seattle, Washington called The Royal Room. She had begun editing a podcast called Raising Adults and began her own podcast called Take Notice: Amplifying Black Stories. Since that time she has edited 30+ different podcast shows with a variety of clients, including Leah Bryant Co. and multiple audiobooks in collaboration with WSU Press and Sound Wisdom Publishing.
